How Does Royal Victory Thoroughbreds Acquire Horses?

° We purchase yearlings at auction

° Keeneland September

° WTBOA August

° Saratoga August

° We breed our mares to quality stallions

° Extensive research:

° Sire and Tail line

° Cross / Nicking patterns

° Family racing history

° We attend sales auctions in person and may bid on multiple horses that meet our criteria

° We visually inspect horses in barn area and behavior in walking ring

° Inspect Conformation

° Vet reports and scopes

Royal Victory Thoroughbreds assume 100% of the risk until horse is near race-ready

° West Coast horses relocate to Yakima, WA to for initial training

° East Coast horses relocate to Ingleside Training Center in Virginia or to Ocala, FL for initial training

° Horses are saddled, jogged and galloped regularly before they are moved to Primary Racing Location for race prep training

Only after a horse breezes ½ mile (4 furlongs), are units offered at Fair Market Value, as determined by:

° Pedigree and Family History

° Conformation & Soundness

° Bloodstock Agent and Trainer Appraisals

Royal Victory Thoroughbreds removes the year long wait-time from time of yearling purchase by offering young un-raced horses that are near race-ready, only after they have breezed ½ mile

Each horse raced by Royal Victory Thoroughbreds is acquired after extensive research, inspection and analysis to promote a competitive racing experience on NYRA tracks, Mid Atlantic, California or Washington State venues. Investing in sound and quality thoroughbreds improves your potential for an active and hopefully winning experience.

Royal Victory Thoroughbreds is a committed and active participant within the partnership and will retain at least two shares of every horse that is racing under the blue and gold colors. We invest with you since we also love the thrills from racing while reassuring partners of our continued vested interest in the success of our racehorses. Our goal is to bring you an awesome ownership experience.
