The excitement of live racing is unparalleled and has returned once again to Western Washington in a bath of full sunshine and a fast track this weekend. Apr 9-10 was Opening Weekend for Emerald Downs. As Emerald opens, Royal Victory Thoroughbreds is ever closer towards making our debut this year with some potential races listed in the condition book over the next couple of weeks.

The butteflies of anticipation and thrill of competition is sure to arrest our senses as we prepare for that first racing experience of the year. Pyscho Sister has been steadily training in preparation for her first ever race. At the same time, Bad Bad Elroybrown will begin his breezing regimen (serious training) this month. We will monitor and report on both of their progress as they move forward throughout the Spring and Summer.
