Bang and a Boom was foaled on May 26, 2021 in California. The gelding is by Curlin to Mischief and out of the Tribal Rule mare, Hekawi. He is the third foal out of the mare, Hekawi and full sister to Princess Hekawi and half-sister to $100k earner Chief Wild Eagle.

Curling to Mischief by Curlin is a half-brother to one of the all time great stallions in our day and perennially leading stallion, Into Mischief.

Bang and a Boom made his career debut at Emerald Downs on Sep 14, 2024, finishing 2nd by just a head. He is currently stabled at Pleasanton in Northern California and will continue racing in autumn and winter months in search of his first career victory.
